No. Our orthopedic urgent care is open to walk-in patients without a referral. If your insurance requires a referral for specialist visits, our team can help coordinate that during your visit.
In most cases, yes — significantly. ER visits often include facility fees, separate physician fees, and radiology charges that can total thousands of dollars. Our urgent care provides specialist-level orthopedic care at a fraction of the cost.
If surgery is needed, we schedule it directly from our urgent care — no outside referrals, no additional consultations, no delays. Our surgical team is the same team that evaluated your injury.
If you have a life-threatening injury, suspected spinal cord injury with loss of sensation or movement, open fractures with bone visible through the skin, or significant head trauma, go to the nearest emergency room. For all other orthopedic injuries, our urgent care provides faster, more specialized care.
