Dr. Gregory Carlson is the CEO and founder of Restore Orthopedics & Spine Center. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in spine surgery, he specializes in minimally invasive spinal surgery for rapid recovery, including diagnosis and repair of previously failed spinal surgeries, revision surgery, and artificial disc replacement and other motion preservation techniques.
Dr. Carlson also performs microsurgical procedures for herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and other neurocompressive problems. His philosophy of “preservation over procedure” guides every patient interaction — always exhausting conservative options before recommending surgery.
Dr. Carlson is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedics at the University of California, Irvine and serves on the editorial advisory boards for Spine and The Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery.
Dr. S. Samuel Bederman is an accomplished orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in adult and pediatric scoliosis, complex spinal deformity correction, and robotic spine surgery. He has authored nearly 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, making him one of the most published spine surgeons in Orange County.
A pioneer in robotic spine surgery, Dr. Bederman trains other orthopedic surgeons on the latest robotic-assisted techniques and routinely lectures at national conferences. His research focuses on outcomes-based spine care and evidence-driven surgical decision-making.
Patients consistently praise Dr. Bederman for taking the time to answer every question, explaining complex conditions in plain language, and providing compassionate, honest guidance about treatment options.
Dr. Steve Mora is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He treats injuries of the knee, shoulder, elbow, and hip using minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques, with a particular focus on ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, and cartilage restoration.
Dr. Mora brings a unique perspective to orthopedic surgery, having suffered a career-ending football injury himself at the University of Miami. This personal experience with sports injury and recovery fuels his commitment to getting every athlete — from weekend warriors to professionals — back to their sport safely.
He serves as team doctor for the Anaheim Bolts pro soccer team, Foothill High School, and multiple Orange County athletic programs. Dr. Mora is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Michael Gillman is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, total joint replacement, and sports medicine. His dual fellowship training in foot/ankle reconstruction and joint replacement allows him to treat a uniquely wide range of orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Gillman provides expert care for conditions including ankle instability, Achilles tendon injuries, bunions, hammertoes, stress fractures, and arthritis of the foot and ankle. He also performs total knee and hip replacement surgery.
His approach combines surgical precision with a commitment to conservative treatment first — always exploring non-surgical options before recommending a procedure.
Dr. Navid Ghalambor is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon providing comprehensive orthopedic care including fracture management, trauma, general orthopedic surgery, and musculoskeletal conditions across the full spectrum of complexity.
Dr. Ghalambor plays a key role in Restore's walk-in orthopedic urgent care, providing immediate specialist evaluation for acute injuries including fractures, dislocations, sprains, and work-related injuries. His presence ensures patients receive orthopedic specialist care from minute one — not a general ER physician.
His broad orthopedic expertise makes him an ideal first point of contact for patients who aren't sure which specialist they need. He evaluates, diagnoses, and either treats directly or routes patients to the most appropriate subspecialist within the practice.
Dr. Eric Chang specializes in interventional pain management and non-operative sports medicine, offering patients advanced non-surgical treatment options for acute and chronic pain conditions. He treats back pain, neck pain, joint pain, nerve pain, and sports injuries using targeted injection therapies and regenerative techniques.
His expertise spans epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy, and stem cell therapy. Dr. Chang takes a multimodal approach to pain — combining advanced procedures with medication management and physical therapy.
Patients consistently describe Dr. Chang as the most caring and effective pain doctor they've ever worked with, praising his willingness to listen, explain, and find innovative solutions for even the most complex pain conditions.
Dr. Andrew Germanovich specializes in interventional pain management with a background in anesthesiology, giving him advanced expertise in both diagnostic and therapeutic pain procedures. He treats a wide range of chronic pain conditions including back pain, neck pain, nerve pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, and cancer-related pain.
Dr. Germanovich offers a comprehensive range of interventional procedures including epidural injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, joint injections, and neuromodulation. His anesthesiology training provides a deep understanding of pain pathways and pharmacology that enhances his procedural precision.
His goal is to restore function and quality of life for every patient — treating the whole person, not just the pain score. He works closely with referring physicians to coordinate multidisciplinary care plans.
