Posterior cruciate ligament tears and complex multi-ligament knee dislocations requiring reconstructive surgery for stability and function.
Recurrent kneecap dislocations or subluxations — often requiring MPFL reconstruction to restore normal patellar tracking.
Focal cartilage damage or chondromalacia treated with microfracture, cartilage restoration procedures (OATS, ACI), or biological augmentation.
Arthroscopic reconstruction using autograft (bone-patellar-bone, hamstring) or allograft tissue. Structured rehab program guides return to sport at 9–12 months.
We prioritize meniscus preservation — repairing tears whenever possible. When repair isn't possible, a minimal-resection partial meniscectomy removes only the damaged tissue.
Resurfaces all three knee compartments with metal and plastic implants — highly effective for advanced knee arthritis. Most patients have dramatic pain relief and walk the same day.
When arthritis is limited to one compartment, a partial replacement resurfaces only the affected area — preserving healthy tissue and offering faster recovery than total replacement.
Diagnostic and therapeutic arthroscopy for cartilage damage, loose bodies, plica syndrome, and synovitis. Cartilage defects treated with microfracture or OATS procedures.

The most common knee conditions include ACL and PCL tears, meniscus tears, patellar tendon tears, cartilage defects, knee arthritis, patellar instability, and ligament sprains. We also treat complex knee fractures and failed prior knee surgery.
A complete ACL tear cannot heal on its own because the ACL lacks a direct blood supply. However, not all patients require surgery. Older, less active patients may do well with rehabilitation alone. Younger, active patients — especially those who want to return to cutting or pivoting sports — generally benefit from surgical reconstruction.
Full return to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes 9–12 months after ACL reconstruction. Return to straight-line running occurs around 3–4 months. Most patients return to desk work within 1–2 weeks.
Knee replacement is recommended when knee arthritis causes persistent pain and functional limitation that has not responded to physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, weight management, activity modification, and cortisone or hyaluronic acid injections. Most patients considered for knee replacement have tried conservative treatment for at least 3–6 months.
Modern knee replacement implants last 15–20+ years in most patients. Advances in implant design and materials have significantly improved long-term survivorship. Our surgeons use proven implant systems with excellent long-term data.
